A few years ago I took the three month online Google UX course. Learn the foundations of UX design, including empathizing with users, building wireframes and prototypes, and conducting research to test your designs — and discover how to effectively utilize UX design.
Reasoning for taking the course to obviously learn about UX design but also to up my skill set in our ever changing design industry and how to speak to it when I might not be hands on when working projects.
I’m experience was eye opening, there are so many aspects to designing, not just how “pretty” it looks but be more conscious and importantly aware of all user needs. It gave me insight and knowledge, regarding what designers often forget when designing for which ever medium your final creative might be viewed and how the audience with engage with it.
